Who we are
The Escape Plan is made by Jester Demi LLC, a Wyoming company. Questions about privacy: [email protected].
The short version
There is no account and no sign-up. Your plan, checklist, boxes, notes, documents list, budget and stays are stored only on your phone. We do not have a server that holds them, and we cannot see them.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell data.
What stays on your phone
Everything you type into the app: your move details, passports and passport expiry date, tasks, box contents, notes, document names and expiry dates, budget and stays. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Backups and exports are files you choose to save or share yourself, and they go only where you send them.
When the app goes online
Travel advisories: the app downloads public travel advice from the US State Department, the UK Foreign Office, the Government of Canada and the Australian Government (Smartraveller). These requests contain no personal information, but like any website those servers see your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply.
Purchases: Pro is sold through the app store you downloaded the app from, which handles payment. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase and to restore it. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for this app, and basic device information. It does not receive your plan or anything you type. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Recommended links: the list of recommended services may be refreshed from our website. That request contains no personal information.
Links you open: links to official sites, Discord and partner services open in your browser or their app, and those sites have their own privacy policies. Some partner links are referral links, so the partner knows you came from us. Partners may use cookies under their own policies.
Camera and notifications
The camera is used only to scan the QR labels on your boxes. No photos or video are saved or sent anywhere.
Reminders and travel advice alerts are created on your phone. We do not run a push server and do not collect a push token.
Children
The Escape Plan is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete anything in the app at any time, or delete everything with Start over in Settings. Because we do not hold your plan, there is nothing for us to export or delete on a server. To ask about the purchase record held by RevenueCat, or to make any request under laws like the GDPR or CCPA, email [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we will change the last updated date and the copy in the app.
